About Dewtier.

Dewtier Consulting was inspired by Henrietta Duterte (phonetically prounounced Dew-tier) - the first black woman funeral home owner in the US who used her business to ferry escaped enslaved people to freedom on the Underground Railroad. Her story speaks to how even in the most difficult of circumstances, people working together can make a way out of no way. Her courage and ingenuity continue to inspire our work and speak to the values we bring to every project and partnership.

Our Values.

Joy. Learning. Creativity. Partnership. Equity.
